HARD WORK, DEDICATION, GOALS, SUCCESS all these words describe Dylan’s vision therapy journey. Dylan not only exceeded his goals he had unexpected achievements in quality of life he had not anticipated, and he completed his therapy early! Dylan had some challenging symptoms from his esotropia. He suffered with headaches, and double vision often, his coordination was poor causing falls and limited sports performance, he had no depth perception and limited peripheral vision. Dylan graduates with no double vision at near or far, better eye control, decreased eye turn, depth perception, and increased peripheral vision – all of which were therapeutic goals. He also met personal goals of improved reading, better schoolwork and assignment completion, BUT he and his parents report being surprised with these achievements: self-confidence, self-esteem, eye contact, sports ability, reduced falls/spills and reduced frustration. All improving his quality of life.
His parents wrote to us after graduation. “We have had a wonderful experience. Dylan has improved far beyond expectations.”
